Chair Pilates is an accessible form of pilates practiced whilst seated in a chair or using a chair for support. It is ideal for those who have restricted mobility and suitable for all ages and abilities. You will be given a good understanding in seated/supported exercise using body weight, balls, bands and hand weights. Private groups can be organised and four week block public courses are available at various locations. Classes can be in person or via Zoom.
Barre Pilates combines aspects of Pilates, yoga and ballet in one dynamic class to give a full body workout & is a great addition to your fitness regime. You can use a barre or sturdy chair to help provide stability whilst carrying out a structured sequence of moves. Each class will help build alignment, strengthen your core, tone and elongate muscle your muscles.
